Terms of Service

You are entering into an agreement with Aya Labs B.V., a private company registered in the Netherlands. In these terms we refer to ourselves as “Anchor”, “we”, or “us”, and to you as “you”.

You must be 18 or older to use Anchor. Anchor is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You agree to provide accurate information when signing up and to keep your account secure.

You can have one account per person. Don't share access. Don't sign up on behalf of someone else without their explicit consent.

Anchor is a voice-first productivity and accountability tool. An AI coach calls you at scheduled times, on demand, or while you work, and helps you name and tackle priorities.

Anchor is not a medical service. It is not therapy, counseling, coaching by a licensed professional, or treatment of any condition. Nothing the AI coach says is medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. If you need professional help, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services in your country.

Anchor is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis or considering self-harm, please contact local emergency services or a crisis line immediately. In the United States, you can dial or text 988. In the Netherlands, dial 113 or visit 113.nl. In an emergency, dial your local emergency number (112 in the EU, 911 in the US).

You agree not to:

• Use Anchor to harm yourself or others, or to plan illegal activity.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the underlying model prompts, training data, or proprietary systems.
• Use Anchor to send spam, place harassing calls, or otherwise misuse the phone-call feature.
• Sign up with a phone number you do not control or have not been given explicit permission to enroll.
• Attempt to overload, abuse, or exploit our infrastructure (including automating call requests at high volume).
• Resell, sublicense, or commercialize the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, at our reasonable discretion, with or without notice.

If you opt in to phone calls, you authorize Anchor to place outbound calls and send SMS verification messages to the number you provide. Standard message and call rates from your carrier may apply. You can revoke this consent at any time on the Coach screen, by removing your number, or by emailing hello@talkanchor.com.

You own what you say and what you write into Anchor. By using the service you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to process your content solely to operate, secure, and improve the product, for example, to transcribe calls, extract tasks, and inject context into future calls.

We do not use your call transcripts or personal data to train general-purpose AI models outside Anchor's own systems. For details on data handling, see our Privacy Policy.

Anchor may offer a free trial period followed by a paid subscription. By starting a subscription you authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not refund the current billing period unless required by your local consumer protection law. Inside the European Union, you have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period, to exercise it, contact us within 14 days of starting your subscription.

We may change, add, or remove features as the product evolves. We may also discontinue Anchor entirely; if we do, we will give reasonable notice and offer a way to export your data.

We may update these terms. If we make material changes we will email the address associated with your account at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Anchor after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

ANCHOR IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that Anchor will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI coach's suggestions will be accurate or appropriate for your situation. You use Anchor at your own discretion.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights under EU/UK consumer protection law.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AYA LABS B.V. AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF ANCHOR.

Our total liability to you for any claim relating to Anchor will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) €100.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

You may delete your account at any time from the settings page or by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms or use the service in a way that harms us or other users.

On termination, we delete your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Amsterdam, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence grants you the right to bring proceedings before another court.
